According to QFINANCE, brand value is the “amount that a brand is worth in terms of income, potential income, reputation, prestige, and market value.

Brands with a high value are regarded as considerable assets to a company, so that when a company is sold a brand with a high value may be worth more than any other consideration”.

Therefore, brand value has grown to be an important corporate performance measure, as can be seen from the annual best brand value report ranking by the top brand consultancy companies published in Business Week.

The present paper documents the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on the brand value through a panel study analysis.

Findings support the hypotheses of the study and confirm that Corporate Social Responsibility has positive effects on brand value.
