Detection of antibodies to some respiratory viral diseases in camels, goats and sheep in the Egyptian border Governorates

A total of 541 sera of camels, goats and sheep related to Egyptian border Governorates were tested for the presence of specific antibodies for some respiratory viral diseases as bovine respiratory syncytial (BRS) virus, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus, parainfluenza-3 (PI3) virus and bovine viral diarrhoea (BVD) virus.

BRS, IBR and BVD specific antibodies could be detected by neutralization test (NT), while PI-3 antibodies detected by haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test.
