تقييم أداء الإدارات المالية في الإدارة العامة الكويتية من منظور العاملين في تلك الإدارات

This exploratory study aims at evaluating departments’ financial performance and effectiveness in the Kuwaiti public administration, and seeks to find out ways to enhance them as they provide the means for achieving the goals of the national financial policy.

The study was based on a questionnaire distributed on a random sample of (600) government employees in various Kuwaiti ministries.

The data was analyzed using the 20th version of SPSS package.

Study results showed that respondents ranked departments’ financial performance as very good based on the experience of employees, regualtions, organizational structures, recruitment and promotion policies, audit methodology and procedures.

Henceforth, the study concluded that financial departments are efficient and effective in rationalizing public finance in the State of Kuwait.

Moreover, the study gave reference to the areas where performance was not highly evaluated and proposed the necessary procedures.
