With computer technologies developed earher, rather than representing courses directly to the student, computers provide tool kits that enable teachers to build more meaningful, personal interpretations and representations of the course that can be used all over the world.

Also, Many fimdamental educational tasks are difficult to present simply with words such as interaction of force and momentum in physical objects and the operation of a complex computer algorithm that can make computer simulations.

Those last, can be a very effective support of an oral presentation.

However, making computer-based applications is not an easy task for non-computer scientist teachers as it requires a good learning of the programming language on which the apphcation is based.

This software project has provided a presentation designer, SJPDesigner, in which instructions are written as subsets of English sentences.

This presentation can be used by teachers fi'om different disciplines to make educational tools that can serve either as part of a class presentation or an independant study or review.

SJPDesigner was applied to design physics presentations with their related simulations aheady developed.

Because of its capabilities and its being platform independant, Java programming language was the language most likely convenient to support educational tools.

SJPDesigner helps and educator to combine text, pictures, and Java simulations into a single Java applet-based presentation.
