الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aims to provide owners, contractors, project managers and designers with the necessary information to improve management quality in construction projects, through assessing the factors that affect the quality views of the contractor and the owner, by comparison of perspectives, this study covered the most important 12 factors affecting quality, plus 51 sub-factors influencing quality directly.

In order to develop a framework for measuring quality in Jordanian construction projects.

A survey methodology is applied by questionnaire to collect data from contractors and owners in Jordan, where the number of participants in this study was 83 participants: 41 contractors and 42 owners.

Descriptive analysis was used to achieve the objectives of this study; the results of this survey were used for the most important ranking factors for contractors and owners through the Relative Importance Index (RII).

The finding indicate that, no significance statistical differences in both viewpoints, where the most important factors: raw materials, equipment, contract, Workers in the project and the manner of implementation of the project.

This study has made several recommendations, including the need to use a system of quality management in construction projects.
