The search presents the Geodisic and Cartographic systems in Syria and other countries, and it analyzes its components for the purpose of comparing it with Syria, this will consequently lead to a better understanding of the basic requirements for building a new Syrian Geodisic system.

The neighboring countries build modern Geodisic systems that meet the international Geodisic references especially the Europeans, as well the European Union builds a collective Geodisic system and its countries build its own systems connect to the collective system, also the Europeans, the Americans and the Russians build ground Geodisic system (on the global level) that can be considered (dynamic) systems connect to ground and space monitoring stations, permanently work and connect directly to the Geodisic data base that meet the developments resulting from the movement of the continental plates and the developments of Geodisic and check measurements and the model of the Ellipsoid and geoïd, and this what should be adapted as national model for Syria which has become an old Geodisic island.
