التشريعات الناظمة لحقوق ضحايا الجريمة في ظل التشريعات الأردنية و الاتفاقيات الدولية

This study aims to recognize the rights of crime victims under the shade of the International Agreements and the Jordanian Legislations, and procedures of the Criminal Justice Bodies/(Services) in crime victims' protection.

This study has used an analytical descriptive approach; and has reached a number of results, most important ones including the following: 1.

The inability of Criminal Justice Bodies/(services) from handling crime victims' rights shall lead to the loss and the deprivation of the victim person's capability/(power) and his family, as well, from claiming for their various rights.

The paid compensation to the crime victims' persons due to what they have been through; such as harm and/or suffering, Weather at the physical or psychological level, as a result of the crime against them, is considered as a significant recognition of looking after the victim.

Thus, if this compensation is not fully paid from the offender or from any other sources, like, private personal insurance, then it's a must for the State to undertakes providing/(paying) this compensation to the victim.

The involved Countries parties in the European Agreement are obliged to provide/(pay) compensation to crime victims in case the unavailability or the lack of compensation amount for the victims.

Jordanian Legislations has ensured and guaranteed the protection of crime victims through its Laws and its Constitutions.

The study has reached a number of recommendations, most important ones including the following: The necessity for Crime Victims to have and/or receive an assistance/(aid-help-support) in its all forms; whether it is (financial, medical, psychological or social) ones; by or through the Official Governmental Institutions and/or the Unofficial ones; also, call upon for the Institutions and various Civil Society Organizations to support crime victims regarding (social, security, healthcare and psychological) aspects.

Thus, legislator must and/or should interfere by issuing legislations and amending the effective ones in conformity with the International Legislations that has protected and guaranteed the rights of crime victims.
