This paper addresses the issue of African integration, by underlines integration efforts that occurring between countries and institutions in the continent, since 1950s up to early 21 century.

It centers on political, economic and social challenges that facing regional groups in Africa (e.g.

political turmoil, supreme of tribal entities and lacking of African media, this in addition to lacking of Africa’s infrastructure.

To achieve its goals in relating to development of political, social and media roles in appearance of African integration, the paper reaches that: map of adequate strategic schemes of African integration that based on development of local, regional integrated institutions is perquisite; moreover, role of African media in sustaining of future integration schemes is essential.

To end, the paper recommends that development of political realm, reform of political, constitutional institutions is critical; in addition, availability of political will is critical to enable governors to adopt political strategies based on integration initiative between countries and institutions in the continent.
