Can we buy a warranty at the same time of making a purchase ?

What if the warranty is purchased at point of purchase eg laptop £ 300 + £ 50 warrantly (parts and labour). Or Gas boiler £ 1000 +£ 100 7yr warranty parts n labour. The following Fatwa indicates if done at point of purchase. “In this case, the fee for the warranty will be regarded to be part of the purchase price of the item.” ? Please clarify
