This work presents a decision support system that employs some proposed macroeconomic indicators to produce economic forecasts regarding a given country.

The indicators were selected based on a mechanism for parameter selection and variable reduction to represent knowledge in decision-making systems.

The system can abstract knowledge and utilise it in generating decisions.

The basic source of knowledge for the system was acquired from different reports and experts in economics.

Nevertheless the system can abstract knowledge from any other available sources.

Additionally, the presented system can establish relationships between various nodes of knowledge to generate forecasts regarding other nodes; in this research they are the economic indicators.
