This is a two day interactive course of the Islamic inheritance system, Awqaf and estate planning.

Its focus is how to implement the Islamic inheritance law while living under non-Islamic laws.

This course is also offered as a community service for Muslims who live under conventional laws of inheritance, especially in North America.

The main points covered in this course are : -Objectives of Islamic estate planning.

Implementation of Shari’ah inheritance system.

Secondary objectives.

-Trusts : kinds, relation to Awqaf.

-Kind of Awqaf.

-How can the principle of Awqaf be used in estate planning : -Family Waqf.

-Charitable Waqf.

-Living trusts and last wills.

-Family corporations.
