Working in interest related companies organizations : work in investment of pension fund

Assalaam Alaikum Dr. Kahf, My name is Khalid and I have been referred to you by Brother Khaled in Canada. I'm currently employed by the OMERS, a large public pension fund based in Toronto ; I work specifically in the capital markets group (OMERS Capital Markets). I was wondering if I could speak with you about the credit work that I have done, and am being asked to do, as part of my role here. The work is specifically involved in decision making regarding investments in bonds and other fixed income securities. While not all of my work is directed toward such activity, I am looking for guidance regarding the permissibility--from a Sharia perspective--regarding the involvement in such activity.
