Working in interest related companies organizations : working in government deposit insurance corporation

Asalam Alaykum, I am sorry to bother you with this painstaking write-up. Is it lawful for a Muslim brother to work under this organization having the functions, mandates and powers as below ? Please note that 1. 99.9 % of the banks in Nigeria are interest based. 2. The brother is not working in any bank but under this organization-NDIC-Nigeria deposit insurance corporation I will be very grateful if the question is given an accelerated response.
