الملخص الإنجليزي

An operator T is said to be paranormal if T 2x ³ Tx 2 holds for every unit vector .

Several extensions of paranormal operators are considered until now, for example -paranormal, perinormal and generalized paranormal operators.

In this thesis we will give some properties of hyponormal, paranormal, -paranormal, perinormal, ∗-paranormal operators.

Precisely we will give some conditions which are generalization of concepts of paranormal, hyponormal, quasihyponormal and we give some necessary and sufficient under which an operator is ∗-paranormal, perinormal or paranormal.

It is also we give a characterization of paranormal and investigate the relation of such class of operators and other known classes of operators.

Moreover, we show that if E is the Riesz idempotent for a nonzero isolated point of the spectrum of -paranormal operator , then Â(E ) = ker(T - l) = ker(T * - l) .

For this situation, is self-adjoint.
