الملخص الإنجليزي

The aim of the present study is to investigate the immunological interference of Infectious Bronchitis, and Avian Influenza vaccines on the immune response to Newcastle vaccines by studying the cellular, humeral, immunity and protectivity rate among these vaccines.

Two hundred and eighty commercial broiler males (Arbour Acres breed) were selected in this study at one day of age.

Thirty chicks were sacrificed randomly for demonstration of Haemagglutination inhibition test (H.I) by measuring of Haemagglutination inhibition antibodies against NDV in their sera at one day of age.

In addition, indirect ELISA was done for detection of maternal antibodies against NDV, IBV, and AIV in their sera at one-day age.

The maternal immunity in both H.I and ELISA tests was high.

The rest chicks (250 chicks) were divided in to five equal groups, fifty chicks for each.

Four groups were consider as a treated groups numbered as G1, G2, G3, and G4 while the last group consider as a control group.

G1 was vaccinated by live attenuated ND vaccine for three times, firstly by eye drop vaccination at first day of age.

Then boostered by drinking water vaccination at (10th) and (20th) days of age respectively.

G2 was vaccinated by live attenuated ND vaccine and live attenuated IB vaccine by eye drop vaccination at first day of age.

Then re-vaccinated by live attenuated ND vaccine only by drinking water vaccination at (10th) and (20th) days of age.

G3 was vaccinated by the same vaccination programme of G2, but chicks of this group were re-vaccinated by live attenuated IB vaccine twice; firstly at day one of age while secondly at (18th) day of age.

G4 was vaccinated by inactivated AI vaccine subcutaneously at first day of age.

Also, vaccinated by live attenuated IB vaccine once at one day of age and also, vaccinated by oilemulsion ND vaccine at first day of age then boostered by live attenuated ND vaccine by drinking water vaccination at (10th) and (20th) days of age.

G5 was left without vaccination to be considered as a control group.

The results obtained are: titers of HI antibodies against NDV were high at (10th) day of age, then declined gradually at (30th) day of age.

Titers of antibodies against AIV and IBV were low at (32nd) day of age which measured by ELISA.

The results of D.T.H test revealed a significant differences (P<0.05) among the groups at (30th) day of age in which G4 gave the highest mean value.

The challenge test has been demonstrated by using the virulent NDV in all fourth treated groups at (32nd) day of age.

Mortality rate (MR) was high (75%) in G4 which vaccinated by AI and IB vaccines while mortality in G1 was low (25%) which vaccinated only by ND vaccine.

The study demonstrates that vaccination of chicken by using of more than one live attenuated vaccines leading to immune stress which negatively affect on the immune response against NDV, consequently act to increase mortality of chicken which infected by NDV.

In addition, the study demonstrates that vaccination of chicken by AI and IB vaccines affect mainly on the cellular and humeral immune response to NDV.
