The research aims to : 1- Identify the effect of physical effort on a number of blood components 2- Identify the effect of physical effort on some biochemical indicators 3- Identify the impact of physical effort on some thyroid hormones The researcher used the descriptive approach due to its suitability to the nature of the problem.

The research sample consisted of 12 students from the first stage in the Faculty of Physical Education/Tikrit University The researcher applied the tests, measurements, analysis of medical and analytical instruments.

The following variables were studied (a number of blood H.b, P.C.V, and W.B.C) and some biochemical indicators (S.

cholesterol and S.

Triglyceride) and thyroid hormones (TSH, T4, and T3) The data was treated statistically by using (the mean, standard deviation, t-test for the correlated samples).

The researcher came to the following conclusions 1- There was no significant difference in the level of each of (H.b and P.C.V) after the effort 2- There was a significant difference in the number of white blood cells after the effort 3- There was a significant difference in biochemical indicators after the effort 4- There was no significant difference in the stimulating hormone of the thyroid gland (TSH) after the effort 5- There was a significant difference in the level of hormones (T4 and T3) after the effort The researcher presented a set of recommendations, included : 1- Conducting further studies to determine the variables that were caused by the biochemical indicators and the thyroid hormones by using different distances 2- Conducting a comparative study on samples of different sports levels, and identifying the changes that were caused by the biochemical and hormonal indicators
