الملخص الإنجليزي

Electronic Financial Fraud (EFF) is becoming a familiar term today for financial institutes and their clients in Jordan.

Fraud is a multiple, complex, and unexpected crime that can be accomplished using different, sophisticated methodologies with different motivations, under the virtual environments.

EFF is adapting by criminal individuals and groups who are exploiting, penetrating, and abusing the Information system and network infrastructure vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and flows.

EFF is draining huge amount of money annually.

In this study, the researcher demonstrated the different types of electronic financial fraud in the different financial areas, as well as, the most common techniques of electronic financial fraud and the technical security strategies of detection and prevention procedures of EFF.

In this study, the researcher conducted a discussion of the Jordanian legal legislations and governmental strategies of EFE.

The researcher conducted a comparison between the Jordanian legal legislation and the British one.

In this Study, the researcher proves that; legal procedures is playing a key role as the technical security one in order to persecutes and eliminate the criminals desire to exploit the digital environment
