الملخص الإنجليزي

The current study aims at investigating the effectiveness of using Al Nazm theory of Sheikh Abdulkaher Aljurjani for the developing of the rhetorical appreciation and deriving some effective results that may assist teaching the Arabic rhetorical courses of the Arabic language female students on the Faculty of Education in Medina.

In order to conduct the study, the researcher designed a training program based on Sheikh Abdulkaher Aljurjani's book "Dalai'l Aleijaz" to improve the students' appreciation skills through the application of the analytical method of analyzing Arabic poetic instances; in addition, a questionnaire of 128 items was designed to investigate the effectiveness of using Al Nazm theory on the students' rhetorical appreciation.

The training program was applied on a sample of 40 students of different rhetorical levels in the academic years 1420 - 1421H.

To examine the research hypotheses, T-test, Qui square, and percentages were used.

The T-test results indicated statistically significant differences in 46 items of the third axis of the questionnaire.

The findings of the study indicated the effectiveness of using Al Nazm theory of Sheikh Abdulkaher Aljurjani in developing and improving the rhetorical appreciation of the Arabic female students.

According to the results of the study, the recommendations were derived comes at the importance of using and over-generalizing Al Nazm theory in teaching all the Arabic rhetorical studies.
