Impulse radio UWB become a very promising technology.

It possesses major attractive advantages in wireless communications, positioning, radar, networking, and imaging systems.

Impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) signals provide an extremely wide bandwidth for transmission and very high data rate over short distance.

The fundamental issue in communications is the coexistence among different systems.

Where the impact on the performance of the system caused by simultaneous use of the spectrum by different systems.

A low power pulse generator circuits have been proposed to generate (4th, 5th, 7th) order derivatives of Gaussian pulse and simulated in 0.25 μm CMOS process.

The results show ???=178 mV pulse amplitude and ??= 344 ps pulse duration for the 4th order derivative and ???= 200 mV and ??= 422 ps for the 5th order derivative and ???=185 mV and ??= 510 ps for the 7th order derivative.

Coexistence problem between Narrowband (NB) and UWB systems may causing a significant mutual interferences which can be happened due to WLAN center frequency at 5.25 GHz, which is located inside of the FCC band (3.1-10.6) GHz.

The Narrowband Interferences (NBI) suppression can be done by generating a notch in the spectrum of the transmitted waveform.

A combination waveforms consists of sum of 4th-4th, 5th-5th, and 4th-5th order derivatives with time delay interval between them for interference mitigation purpose has been proposed in this work.

The results show more than 40 dB rejection in 5.25GHz.

The design of the Pulse Generators (PGs) were performed using Advanced Design System (ADS) software.
