الملخص الإنجليزي

'Ihc morphological aspcct in the articic dictionary comprises three elements: (1) lexical category belonging (nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs and particles); (2) etymology ; (3) inflectional category (gender and number).

These three elements arc the necessary components of typical linguistic definition of dictionary entries.

The morphological aspcct is, then, a structural component of the article dictionary because it is one of the set of information which the lexicographer gives about the lexical item.

In the present paper, we have studied the presence ol this aspcct in dictionaries.

We have found that the morphological aspect must appear systematically in the article dictionary.

Generally, elaborating a dictionary requires a theoretical lexicograpical basis which, itself, requires a theoretical lexicological basis.

الملخص الفرنسي

L'aspccc morphologiquc, dans I’articlc du dictionnaire, cotnprcnd trois elements : (1) 1’appartcnancc catcgoricllc Icxicalc, e'est-i-dire 1’appartenancc a la catcgorie des noms, des adjcctifs, des verbes, des advcrbcs ou des particules; (2) I’^tymologie ; (3) la categoric flcxionncllc, c'cst-a-dire le genre ct le nombre.
