In this work we are concerned with the definition and some properties of the discontinuous dynamical systems.

Then, we study a discontinuous dynamical system.

The existence, uniqueness and the continuous dependence on the initial data of the solution will be proved.

The local stability at the equilibrium points will be studied.

The bifurcation analysis and chaos will be discussed.
