Decision-making is the pivotal process in which most of the management functions revolves on.

Hence, the organization strives to adopt the appropriate choice from several available alternatives after analysing and evaluating these alternatives.

Decision-making that depends on the participation of individuals and provides accurate and timely information is likely to attain job satisfaction, and contributes to the creation of an appropriate organizational climate in line with the expectations of workers.

This research paper illuminates the concept of decision-making and the factors influencing it, aside to the concept of job satisfaction and its importance, in addition to some associated variables, and the influencing factors related to this concept.

At the end, the role of individual participation in decision-making on job satisfaction was highlighted
