The application of cooper-Jacob method remains more reasonable than most alternatives, due to its simplicity and reliability, however the fundamental requirements of the equation are limited for the conditions of small radial distance, and long duration of pumping test, to get u<0.01, Alternatively Jacob (1946) method simplified Theis(1935) equation for the similar conditions of isotropic, homogeneous,fully penetrated confined aquifer, areal extend.

The aim is to improve cooper-Jacob’s (1946) time versus drawdown straight line equation and applying to estimate the Transmissivityfor unconfined aquifer wells located in both Kapran and Bashtapa of Erbil's sub-basin,with large saturated aquifer thickness and small drawdown
