الملخص الإنجليزي

Our present study discusses the commitment to respect the regulations of the International Humanitarian Law, as a cooperative commitment that ensures internal abidance by the Conventions.

Particularly, the study discusses the commitment to ensure citizen abidance by the Conventions, through respect for the International Humanitarian Law.

Therefore, we have selected to focus on studying the human behavior, as it emerges from internal motives and concepts and is affected by external factors.

We are studying the controls on human behavior that dictate and affect such behavior, guide it to the acceptable direction in accordance with humanitarian values and principles, and drive it away from all causes of violation of such values.

Implementing these controls will provide states with a considerable ability to guide the human behavior of its citizens to the acceptable direction.

Therefore, we aimed to shed light on internal human behavior controls (ethics, values, traditions, and norms), and external controls (religion and law), from a social, Islamic and legal perspective.
