الملخص الإنجليزي

Israeli claims that Palestine is their homeland.

They insist that Jewish antiquities still exist there.

Since the 19th century, Israeli continued searching for Jewish remains.

They attempt to highlight every single discovery even as small as a piece of stone, as they put it behind bullet resistant glass.

This illustrates their desire to use antiquities as a weapon to approve Moshe Dayan well-known say "I prefer to see a Palestinian pilot flying with Phantom plane rather than seeing a Palestinian Archeologist".

This emphasizes the role which historic and ancient buildings can play in directing Arab-Israeli conflict, especially in helping Palestinians to prove their right in the country.

Despite of the importance of this heritage, people and governments that controlled Palestine did not give the historic buildings the required attention.

Many of these buildings has been destroyed or deserted, which may lead to its demise.

This study will shed light on the antiquities in Palestine and especially in the Gaza strip to clarify the conditions of the historic buildings and the threats facing this heritage.

In addition, it aims at stressing the main risks exist as a result of continuing this situation, which may lead to the destruction of some historic elements such as Khan El-Zait demolition in Gaza in the mid of the last century.

The paper concludes on the note that preserving this heritage is of special importance to prove the right of Palestinians and disprove the claims of Israeli.

The research also recommend that it is necessary to make use of other nations experiences in dealing with antiquities and the importance of consolidating the relations between Muslim nations and Europe to protect and preserve this heritage.
