الملخص الإنجليزي

The designing approach of current housing units in Gaza city has been misled by several public and private companies, contractors, and even people themselves; hence their technical demands and attitudes are focused precisely on costs, forms, and aesthetic rather than climatic and social comforts.

To improve the approach, an analytical study of detached houses where people design interior spaces to comfort their thermal and cultural demands has been evaluated.

Herein, concepts of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) have been used in illustrating diagrammatically distributed spaces.

Accordingly, several climatic patterns of summer, winter, and summer-winter are found.

This guided the author to set a significant design for future detached, collective and cooperative housing projects.
