The current paper aims to detect the characteristics of facial features processing among schizophrenic and autistic people, and their role in comprehending the identity of faces and emotional expression.

Schizophrenia is similar to autism with respect to weakness in treating the facial expressions.

Based on the importance of our facial expressions in our social life, this will influence autistic and schizophrenic people psychologically and socially.

This will lead to exacerbate many symptoms of autism and schizophrenia.

In this paper, we underpinned the rate, features, holistic and analytical processing of these features as they are considered the basis in comprehending facial features of autistic and schizophrenic people.

Not only there are similarities in the nature of facial features processing between autistic and schizophrenic children, but also there is a defect in the cerebral regions (fusiform gyrus and the amygdala of the brain) responsible for these processes and processors.

Schizophrenic patients is limited to defect in configurations and holistic processing.

But features processing and analytical processing remain intact, In addition to this deficit with autistic children, there is another problem in the processing of eye feature and analytical processing for the eyes.
