In the urban community in Gaza, the new communication means have changed the way of people are communicating in an effective and swift manner and helped in forming new relations through the mobile, text messages, e-mails, chatting and networks.

Beside the previous positive aspects of the new communications, some other negative are there.

They eliminated the personal contact among the people and helped in creating tense among them.

This study aims to identify the effects of using the new communication means on the social relations among the neighbors (urban community) in Gaza city.

To achieve this objective the researchers adopted the analysis information approach obtained from the literature review that tackle the subject.

Additionally, analysis of the questionnaire directed to the samples of the study in the Gaza city.

The sample distributed in Tal-El Hawa area and Jala'a Street in Gaza city.

The variables of the study were the residence, duration of residing there, nature of housing, ownership, age, sex, educational level.

The study concluded that The modern means of communication did not have negative effect on the relations between neighbors at the urban community in Gaza city, where (50 %) of the respondents see that their relationship with their neighbors remains as it was in the past, as well as about (45 %) of the respondents believed that their dependence on the mobile and the Internet reduced the interaction with the neighbors
