الملخص الإنجليزي

This research aimed to investigate the appropriateness of the organizational factors that would facilitate the adoption of teleworking application in the organizations.

Toward this aim, a research model was developed and tested within the context of Jordanian mobile telecommunication sector.

The proposed model of this research assumes that the appropriateness of the factors of interests would enhance the ability for the adoption of teleworking application.

These factors are: technological infrastructure, work nature, level of managerial flexibility, decentralization, management by objectives, and social relationships.

Using a sample of 352 employees, primary data were collected from 324 employees with a response rate of 91.7%.

SPSS package was used to determine if the organizational factors are appropriate for the adoption of teleworking application.

The results showed that the technological infrastructure, work nature, level of managerial flexibility, decentralization, and management by objectives are highly appropriate for the adoption of teleworking application in the context.

Also, the results show that the social relationships factor does not enhance the appropriateness for the adoption of teleworking application in the same context.

The researcher presents some recommendations for the organizations for the adoption of teleworking application, and some suggestions for future research
