الملخص الإنجليزي

In this thesis we have studied the p -hyponormal operators for bounded linear operators on a complex Hilbert space.

We study some properties of powers of the p-hyponormal operators, and apply some of these properties on the normal operators and the spectrum of p-hyponormal operators.

Also, We shall introduce a generalized Aluthge transformation on p -hyponormal operators and also, by using the Furuta inequality, we shall give several properties on this generalized Aluthge transformation as further extensions of some results of Aluthge.

Moreover, we try to prove some results concerning the Fuglede-Putnam-Aluthge problem.

More precisely, we prove that if T and S * are p -hyponormal, then C om (T , S ) Í C om (T , S ) and if, moreover, T is invertible p -hyponormal operator and S * is p -hyponormal then Com (T ,S ) = Com (T ,S ).
