الملخص EN

The present study aims at identifying the input that Jordanian Research Centers can have in the process of political decision making related to Arab Spring and the political mobilization in Jordan.

It further addresses its relationship with the environment of these political and economic centers, on the one hand and the degree of mutual trust between them and the decision makers, on the other hand.

The quantitative method in data collection is adopted through developing a questionnaire using Likert’s five-point scale.

The intended stratified sample consisted of (146) faculty members.

The following findings were arrived at : -The contribution of research centers was of a medium degree in decision making in terms of identifying the problem, forming the objectives, collecting, interpreting and classifying data in addition to evaluating political decisions made by the governments.

As for the contribution of research centers in providing alternate decisions, it was notably little.

-There was a positive direct relationship between the environment of the social, economic and political centers on the one hand and their contribution in political decision making, on the other.

-There was also a positive direct relationship between the degree of mutual trust between the research centers and decision makers on the one hand and the contribution of research centers in decision making, on the other.
