الملخص EN
Since the beginning of the French Occupation of Algeria that began on 5 July 1830, Ottoman Empire couldn’t help Algeria because of some internal and external problems that it had faced.
Because of the long distance of Algeria from the center, problems in Egypt and internal problems and thinking that Algeria was powerful enough to defend its land against French army, Ottoman Empire did not want to join war with Algerian side against French Army.
Also, being a member of NATO alley, Turkey couldn’t take an open position towards Algeria’s independency, so it experienced some difficulties with Algeria.
As oppose to Turkeys official stance, people and the press in Turkey took stance with Algeria.
Why Turkey had that unclear official position towards Algeria will be studied with the consideration of ongoing situations and international relations of that time.
الملخص FRE
Depuis le début de l'occupation française de l'Algérie le 5 Juillet 1830.L’empire Ottoman ne pouvait pas soutenir l'Algérie à cause de certains problèmes internes etexternes quelle a confronté.
Alors que l'Algérie était assez éloignée de son gouvernement, L’intérêt porté a la question Egyptienne et aux problèmes internes ottomans, ont fait que l'Empire ottoman a estimé que l'Algérie était assez puissante pour se défendre contre l'armée française.
Ceci dit, l’Empire ottoman ne voulait pas se joindre à l’Algérie et se mettre contre l’armée française, du au fait quelle soit membre alliée de l'OTAN.
La Turquie ne pouvait pas ouvertement prendre position à l'égard de l'indépendance de l'Algérie et ceci a provoqué quelques difficultés entre ces deux pays.
Cette position officielle a fait qu’en Turquie, les gens et la presse se sont alignés avec l'Algérie.
Pourquoi la Turquie avait cette position officielle et floue envers l'Algérie .Situation qui sera étudié en se référant aux situations en cours et les relations internationales de l'époque
