Algeria is considered as one of the leading countries in setting up legal mechanisms to combat international terrorism through its adoption to peaceful solutions, after trying the military security solutions, which were characterized by constraint, force and threats.

These solutions were represented by the laws of compassion measures, the law of Civil Concord and the Charter for Peace and National Reconciliation.
