Trading shares and stocks : Halal investment questons !

السؤال

Assalam-O-Alykum I'd really appreciate if you can guide me in my investment according to Shari’ah / Islamic laws.. I'm planning to invest my money in money market with a brokerage firm, but I don't whether this investment considered Halal (means profit / dividend from this source is Halal or interest).... If it's not Halal, then is there any Halal investment, or any other Halal investment in USA banking systems / investment firms...... Thank you so much for your guidance in this matter. Jazakallah.
