General questions on Zakah : the effect of Zakah on international investment

Asalam Alikom Wa Rahmatoo Allah Wa Barakatooh, How are you Dr.Kahf. I hope you are doing fine in your work and enjoying the summer in the US, not as here it is very cold. Dr Kahf, what do you think about the following ? Are international investment flows Zakah driven ? Or these investments in the world (more specifically in the Gulf countries) are oil driven ??
