Zakah of al Fitr : how much is Zakah-Ul-Fitr this year

Assalamulakum, I have heard that you a financial specialist. I live in Frederick, Maryland and would like to know the cost of Zakah-Ul-Fitr, because some people say that it is $ 10 some have other calculations so could you please clarify what is the actual price of Zakah-Ul-Fitr this year and also maybe explain if there is a misunderstanding in the other calculations and how.
