One of the most dangerous problems facing the Arabic language, nowadays, is the widespread use of a number of vernaculars or dialectal Arabic, a phenomenon that Arabic has never had in its long history.

In addition, another phenomenon has also emerged use of diglossia .

This paper examines this linguistic phenomenon in terms of origin, history, areas, causes and negative impacts on the culture of the Arab nation.

The paper also looks at the language levels this phenomenon falls in.

The paper concludes with a number of suggestions to check on the negative effect of this phenomenon on the cultural and educational realities.
