In this work titled: (Verbal significance between the dictionary’s generality and the contextual particularity), We are discussing the historical aspects ; particularly those related to the Arabic linguistic tradition and the organic and functional relationship aspects between the word and its meaning in language.

In the forum of ancient and contemporary language studies, this dichotomy; word/meaning, stand in affirmation with other introductory approaches, not only with those not related to match levels (signifier / signified), but also the semantic values that result from this latter; regarding the contextual and linguistic aspects presented by the attempt to separate between the general and special dimensions of the lexicon.

This work is based on appearance with double epistemological entrance: the first is word / meaning, and the second is context/ linguistic segmentation levels (word, composition …..)
