This researchbelongs to the field of lexical semantics.

It intends to invest the semanticmethodswhich are considered as a procedural area for the classification of the two types oflinguisticdictionaries: monolingual and bilingualones.

In this research the focus is especially on the difficulties that are relevant to the bilingual lexical composition and it treats this topic starting from two points which are: 1.

The difficulty to determine the second word's parallel meaning in the target language as a result of the large number of one word's synonyms.

2.

The difficulty to determine a word's semantic distinctive features in comparison with other words which have the same meaning inside a single lexical field, and thus to clarify the reasons and the problems equivalent and required solutions.
