Background: Epstcin Barr Virus (EBV) contamination hasbccn involved in pathogencsis of numcrous forms of carcinomas, which includcs gastric most carcinoma nasopharyngcal carcinoma, and bladder most carcinoma.

It has been recently linkcd with cancer of the breast.

The aim of this study is to estimating the rclationship among Epstcin Barr virus cncoded minor piece of RNA (EBER) with tumors of the breast.

40 patients with breast cancer had been regaincd from the Pathology laboratory of AL-Sadder Médical City in Najaf AL-Ashraf Govcmoratc/Iraq.

Scicntific records were investigatcd of the mcdical information and formalin permanent, paraffïn implanted tumor tissuc have been observed via Chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) method to the discovcry of the protein of virus EBER.

The manifestation of EBER in most breast tissuc in this study becamc 50% (Il from 22), in which tough association bccame observed amongst the communication from EBER and sufferers with cancer of the reast.

Even as not crcate considérable variances between ISH terms of EBER with kind of cancer, age, lymph node metastasis and grade.

Dcpedned on the outcomes of the présent study, Epstcin Barr virus performs a prime part in the pathogencsis of most breast cancers.
