Background: Infcrtility duc to malc factor, is considcrcd as a major contributor in the prevalcncc picturc of the infcrtility in the world.

Spcrmatogcnic proccss & its products arc considcrcd the backbonc of malc fertility.

This proccss is dircctly rclatcd to the genes expression which arc locatcd on the long arm of Y-chromosome (Yq).

These gencs arc occupy the three AZF (Azoospermia factors;AZFa,AZFb and AZFc) régions which proved to bc a hot spot for dclction mutations.

AZFc intcrvals dclction is the most prominent dclction with less pcnctrancc that ranging from mild oligospermia to moderate oligospermia.

To assess AZFc dclction corrélation with malc fertility status and to evaluatc the rate of AZFc dclction within primary fertile malcs population.

Cross scctional study was adopted to select 110 child fathering fertile maies who arc subjectcd for convcntional infcrtility investigations and molccular gcnctic analysis (AZFc dclction).

Sixtecnth cases (16 / 110 (14.5%)) shows poor semen parameters (oligospermia) but with normal gcnctic analysis (no AZFc dclction).

onc casc out of which (1/16 (6.25%)) complaining of sccondary infcrtility.

5 cases (5 / 110(4.5%)) shows AZFc dclction with variable range of oligospermia.

4(4 / 5(80%) out of which complaining sccondary infcrtility but with primary fertile status (fathering a child).

Conclusion: These results denoting that, AZFc délation mostly associatcd with spcrmatogcnic failurc (oligospermia) but not necessarily with absolute malc infcrtility.
