الملخص EN

This article intends to reconsider the conceptualization of the American democracy in the light of today’s world changes and regional political configurations.

It also aims at exposing the concept between theory and practice in the American foreign affairs.

Relying on the writings of contemporary eminent figures in the field of politics, history and economy, this article investigates the implications of American democracy supposedly hostile to warsolutions when dealing with global issues and its role in enhancing international conflicts by creating two irreconcilable poles between democratic and nondemocratic political entities.

Briefly, this article endeavors to clarify how the advance of democracy in ‘the end of history’ era perpetuates new rivalry divisions which may put the world in jeopardy.
