Work life is considered one of the top priorities of hotel employees.

The research aims at improving the work life of young employees, recently employed in different hotel occupations, with an application on some Red Sea hotels.

To reach research goals, an interview has been conducted with human resources managers of 26 hotels in Red Sea to know the services and facilities offered to employees.

Moreover, a questionnaire has been distributed among number of 130 employees working in those hotels to know their overall evaluation of their work life and identify the main problems feeing them.

Research results clarified that work life of young employees is not acceptable and faces some problems such as no existence of job security, low monthly income, long working hours, unsatisfactory staff houses and poor career advancement.

To improve employees’ work life, the research recommends the necessity of cooperation among the authorized ministries to do a mechanism for increasing the income of employees working in hotel industry and implementing a monitoring and supervision program on hotel establishments to guarantee an acceptable work life.

The research also suggests that hotels' management should involve employees in responsibilities and decisions.

They should also provide skills development training programs to support career development and promotion as well as listen to their requirements to suffice their needs.
