Personification is one of the significant concepts in Ancient Egypt, it enables to understand the Ancient Egyptians' way of thinking, and how they gave abstract ideas human forms.

Many scenes in the Ancient Egyptian art exemplify this, such as the figures of personified nomes and estates, and the various deities who personified concepts, natural forces, and phenomena.

The research deals with scenes of human figures personifying temples.

A scene represents a female figure with the hieroglyphic sign "Hwt" on her head, this encloses the name of a temple.

Scenes depicting these personifications are extant in New Kingdom temples at Thebes.

Of these, the temples of Kamak, Luxor, Deir el Bahari and Madinet Habu.

The study aims at interpreting and finding out either the religious or the mortuary character of these representations.
