الملخص EN

Tourism and hospitality firms operate in competitive environment where innovating is considered a must for survival.

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to our understanding of innovation in tourism and hotel industry.

The paper examines two important variables, namely; organizational learning and personality traits, which in turn affect the innovative behavior of tourism and hotel fums.

The research also assesses the influence of innovation on firms' performance.

In this study, we develop and test a model that reshapes the interrelationship between the four variables.

Structural Equation Model (SEM) is utilized to test the validity of the proposed model.

The study is based on a quantitative methodology where 150 questionnaires were distributed among tourism and hospitality firms.

LISREL 8.80 program is used to test the theoretical model.

The results reveal that; (1) personality traits influence organizational performance directly and indirectly through innovation; (2) organizational learning influences organizational performance positively, both directly and indirectly tl^ough organizational innovation; (3) organizational innovation influences organizational performance positively
