الملخص EN

Because of its attractive features, its high efficiency and robustness, axial flux permanent magnet machine is a desirable choice for many applications such as renewable energy and in particular wind energy.

In this purpose, we present the design of a new electrical machine with multi rotors and multi stators which are arranged in disc form in multi layers.

First, we recall the different permanent magnet synchronous machines used to convert wind energy into electric energy.

Then, we propose a novel design of axial flux permanent magnet machine where the structure and the characteristics of the prototype are also introduced.

To predict the performances of this type of machine, we formulate the mathematical model, and then we give and discuss some experiment results for the designed prototype.

The proposed prototype is reversible containing three rotors and two stators.
