The study aimed at identifying the effect of the cognitive modeling strategy in the development of reflective thinking and improving the scientific attitudes towards science among the fifth grade students in the State of Kuwait.

The study was followed by experimental method.

The study sample consisted of two experimental groups, which were studied according to the cognitive modeling strategy.

While the control group studied according to the normal method.

The number of students (43) students distributed by (21) students for the experimental group and (22) students of the control group, and the selection of the school Abdul Aziz al-Gharabali in a deliberate way to show the school administration ready to implement the study and provide assistance.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a measure of reflective thinking and a measure of scientific Attitudes was developed.

The results of the study showed the following: There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two experimental groups that were studied using the cognitive modeling strategy and the control group's observations which were studied in the usual way on the measures of reflection and scientific Attitudes and for the benefit of the experimental group.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations.
