This study examines the role of UNRWA higher education in the social mobility of Palestinian refugee women since 1962-2017, considering that education is one of the important social pillars in refugee life, provides the most important opportunities for Palestinian refugees to achieve their own destiny, and provide hope for a better life to face the nature of diaspora and the harsh asylum lifes and challenges.

At the same time, social mobility for women through education, is one of the central issues in the development of many countries in today's world, in given the opportunities for scientific and social progress, making refugee women more willing to accept change and improve Social and economic conditions.

In order to identify the role played by this education, I have conducted 45 oral interviews with Palestinian refugee women at three different periods of their enrollment in UNRWA education institutes, Al-Tira Community College and the University College for Educational Sciences, The first group of interviews was devoted to, refugee women who went to UNRWA education institutes in the early years of its establishment in 1962 until the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1993, And the second group of females who went to the Institute until 1993 and the last group with the refugee women today (2017) to talk about their experience with higher education provided by UNRWA and its outputs, as well as 11 interviews with UNRWA administrators and educational staff.

The interviews focused on Ramallah refugee women and nearby areas, as well as interviews with their families, taking into account the quality of the education received by these respondents.

The specialization ranges from vocational specialties (sewing and beautification) to technical specialties (secretarial and automation) Offices), and educational sciences (teachers Preparing( .

The results of this study showed that UNRWA's higher education played an important role in the social mobility of refugee women.

This role differes throught time, for example: from 1962 to 1993 respondents indicated about 90% of that UNRWA's higher education contributed to social mobility (Occupationa mobility, economic mobility, intellectual mobility, and spatial and psychological mobility).

While the percentage of mobility among second-period respondents that UNRWA's higher education contributed about 70% in their social mobility, Characterized by Occupational mobility, economic mobility, intellectual mobility and spatial mobility.

While 40% of the refugee women who returning to the institute today 2017, assumes that UNRWA education will play a good role in their social lives and social mobility in light of the unemployment among graduates.
