The study aimed to identify the relationship between the psychological stress and strategies encountered among sons of the Palestinian Captives, As well as reveal the fundamental differences in the variables depending on the gender variable and changing the duration of detention of the Father, The study also aimed at identifying the role of strategies to confront the psychological stress in the forecast of the level of pressure to the Captives sons In order to achieve the objective of the study, The researcher developed a tool to measure psychological stress and coping strategies after making sure of validity and reliability.

Where was applied to a sample of (49) of the sons of the Palestinian Captives in the Jenin governorate, The results of the study showed that the level of psychological stress was medium, With Mean (1.88), The study also revealed that one of the strategies to face the psychological stress of the children of Palestinian prisoners is the strategy of asking for help from others.

It obtained an average of 1.88, with a medium rating.

The withdrawal and avoidance strategy also achieved a medium rating, (1.98), and the knowledge and problem solving strategy was the highest in terms with a mean (2.25), and to a moderate degree.

The strategy of inappropriate behavioral habits was obtained at the lowest mean (1.81), While the study did not reveal any differences in the level of psychological stress due to the variable sex, And the existence of differences in psychological stress among children who have been detained for 5 years or less, The study also found a statistically significant relationship between the use of knowledge strategy, problem solving and psychological stress level among the sons of Palestinian Captives.

There is a statistically positive relationship between the use of withdrawal strategies and avoidance and inappropriate behavioral habits and the level of psychological stress, With regard to the predictive ability of the level of psychological stress based on the strategies used by children, the use of strategies (as a whole) contributed 50 % to the level of psychological stress.
