The Arabic rhetoric was based on the notion of the miracle, making of the highest rank which comprised the ultimate degree of persuasion.

It intends to be closed to him so as he might change his mind and his beliefs.

It is a notion linked directly with the power of convincing and argumentation.

In this article we attempt to shed light on some aspects of the notion of rhetoric and the way it related to the notion of argumentation and persuasion in the Arabic rhetoric heritage which engendered three main rhetoric leading trends: the rhetorical discourse of Al-Jahid, rhetorical eloquence of Ibn Wahb, and the logical rhetoric of Sekkaki
